Pub named after the Amesbury Archer

A new £1.8 m Brewer’s Fayre pub-restaurant under construction at Solstice Park, Amesbury is to be called the Amesbury Archer after the Early Bronze Age man found at Boscombe Down in 2002. The burial, uncovered by archaeologists from Wessex Archaeology, was the most important find in the area in recent years. Find out more about the Amesbury Archer.
