Celts and Romans Teacher's Packs

These teacher’s packs contain information and activities to complement the teaching of History at KS2 and KS3.  They were developed from the HLF funded Celts and Romans in North Wiltshire Project as part of the project legacy.
 
You can download these teacher packs, which cover elements of the Iron Age and the Roman periods.
Each pack includes:
  • Posters providing information about the topic
  • Fun and informative activities with associated activity sheet
  • Suggestions for extension activities

 

The Mystery of the Chiseldon Cauldrons

This pack provides information and activities relating to the discovery of twelve Iron Age cauldrons in Chiseldon, North Wiltshire.

  • An understanding of materials and archaeological survival.

 

Truckle Hill: Roman Bath-house

This pack provides information and activities relating to the discovery of a Roman bath-house in North Wraxall, Wiltshire.
