Nick Truckle

Nick has been with Wessex since 2004 and has been leading the Salisbury Office since early 2010, with responsibility for a team of fifty. Prior to that Nick spent six years as an Archaeological Advisor within English Heritage’s London team, liaising with local authorities, commercial developers, and providing strategic consultancy advice for the Thames Gateway and the Olympic Park.
In the 1990’s Nick worked for both the Museum of London and the Newham Museum Service as site and project manager. Whilst at Wessex he has advised a wide array of clients across southern England and Wales, including the Duchy of Lancaster and Persimmon Homes. His particular expertise is in the historic environment and the planning process, brown and green field developments and infrastructure projects.
