Pippa joined Wessex Archaeology in 2006 as a project manager specialising in post-excavation analysis and reporting. In 2012 she was appointed Quality and Publications Manager, dealing with all aspects of the publication process.  She has over 25 years’ experience in post-excavation analysis and publication, and has edited several monographs (including Stansted, Pevensey Castle, Cliffs End, Olympic Park and Imperial College Sports Ground and RMC Land) and numerous journal articles for publication.
Pippa's interests include the post-excavation and publication process, in particular using new methods and technology to help communicate about the past. She is also interested in Neolithic and Bronze Age archaeology and worked flint and stone. She has written numerous flint and stone reports for publication and contributed to several monographs. She undertook research on Neolithic causewayed enclosures for an MPhil at the University of Sheffield. 
She is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries and a Council Member of the Prehistoric Society, and since 2016 has been their Review Editor. 
Prior to joining Wessex Archaeology, Pippa was a Senior Project manager at Oxford Archaeology and Acting Head of the Museum of London Specialist Services.
