Archaeology: most archaeological works are required under Government Planning Policy Guidance. Evaluation works are usually required pre-determination. Mitigation works are usually agreed as a Planning Condition.
Expert Witness: we povide expert witnesses and advocacy to support clients in Planning Applications and in Public Inquiries.
Historic Environment Records: support in GIS, HBSMR by exeGesIS SDM Ltd and database related work for local authority Historic Environment Records.
Infrastructure projects: these complex projects often have their own assessment methods, for example WebTAG in transport projects.
Listed Building/Conservation Area advice: involves specialist survey, guidance in planning law, and liaison for proposed alterations to and planning applications affecting Listed Buildings and Conservation areas.
Risk management: assesses the baseline data, survey methods, likely development impacts and the associated risks to budget and programme.
Scheduled Monuments: are protected by law. Work that might affect them requires official permission from the government. Our experts can help with Scheduled Monument Consent applications and liaison with government agencies.
