Project Assistants (Assistant Archaeologists)
Wessex Archaeology is currently seeking field archaeologists at Project Assistant level to support our projects.
Salary Offered (per annum gross): £15,849 - £16,959 (dependant on skills & experience)
Applicants should have wide-ranging practical skill; experience of working in professional, commercial, archaeological practice is preferable. Applicants will ideally have a valid CSCS card, hold a clean and valid Driving Licence and be members of the Institute for Archaeologists. A job description is available here.
Posts will be offered up to 3 months in duration dependent on experience and project need on a fixed-term contract basis of 37 hours per week standard working. Personal protective clothing will be issued for the duration of employment.
