Heritage Consultancy

I am an all-round archaeologist with twenty years of experience in field archaeology. Based in Sheffield, I deal with a wide range of projects including excavation, recording and interpretation of buried and standing remains ranging from Palaeolithic to modern periods. I have also worked on many international projects.

I have been involved with a variety of historic buildings projects including full measured surveys, photographic surveys, historical research and analysis. I also prepare buildings appraisals, heritage statements and impact assessments. I received the Fieldwork and Recording 2012 Funded Award from the Association for Industrial Archaeology for work done on Archaeological Building Recording and Investigation, Royal Worcester Porcelain Works, The Bone Mill.

I enjoy outreach work and periodically teach students from the University of Worcester, University of Sheffield, Historical Societies and Young Archaeology Club.

Outside of work, I enjoy outdoor activities and travelling with my family.
