As a Senior Buildings Archaeologist in the Consultancy Team my role is to undertake building surveys, photography, AutoCAD work and report writing on a variety of built heritage projects. I play a key role by organising and carrying out field work projects, analysing built fabric and documenting this information assisted by other team members. I am always interested in new and innovative ways of visually presenting archaeological results to a wide range of audiences.
Over the years I have become skilful in a wide range of survey techniques including 3D wire frame, orthographic survey and photogrammetry. My interest in computational photography has led to the development and implementation of Reflective Transformation Imaging (RTI) for a variety of recording purposes. Other interests and areas of expertise include survey and analysis of military sites and structures, from Napoleonic fortifications to Edwardian barracks and even Cold War bunkers.
I am motivated by my desire to continue to develop new and innovative ways to visually present archaeological results to a wide range of audiences.
Outside of work I can be found practicing my photography skills or walking my dog.
