21-23 Slater's Steps
As a Project Manager based in Edinburgh I have managed a wide range of archaeological projects including large scale strip and map excavations, trial trenching, excavation within burial grounds, graveyard surveys and non-intrusive surveys including projects such as the A556 Knutsford to Bowden road scheme and the Manchester Airport Relief Road.
I am a specialist in metric survey and visualisation and have a particular interest in post-medieval burial and in new technologies designed to capture information in the field and streamline the excavation process. In recent years this interest has increasingly focused on low cost technologies that are available to outreach groups and the wider public such as photogrammetry and RTI photography.
I recently relocated from our Sheffield office to Edinburgh to develop the terrestrial fieldwork programme in Scotland and the north of England.
Outside of work I enjoy outdoor pursuits such as running, hiking and snow-boarding.
