ExpertiseManager Coastal & Marine
I am a Project Manager in the Coastal & Marine team at Salisbury. Prior to joining Wessex Archaeology, I worked as a marine archaeologist in Australia on terrestrial, coastal and offshore projects for various Government bodies and developers. Current projects include the Offshore Renewables Protocol for Archaeological Discoveries (ORPAD), but I am also working towards integrating myself within the UK sphere and sourcing new work.
My experience includes managing desk-based assessments, maritime surveys, heritage assessments, impact assessments and management plans. I have also been involved in photographic recording, the interpretation of remote sensing data, archaeological monitoring and artefact recording. I am a commercially qualified SCUBA diver and in 2016 I was elected as Vice President of the Australasian Institute for Maritime Archaeology.
My principal motivation is to help clients to protect and manage our underwater historic environment by undertaking thorough assessments and implementing effective and proportionate mitigation.
Outside of archaeology I enjoy cooking, reading, walking outdoors (even in the UK drizzle) and exploring my new home country.
