Geoarchaeology & Environmental

I have worked in archaeology for the last 15 years, joining Wessex Archaeology in 2012 as part of the fieldwork team and later transferring to Geoservices based in Salisbury

My main role covers both on-site and lab-based sediment and stratigraphic analysis, geoarchaeological support for the fieldwork teams along with the modelling and interpretation of deposits. I have worked on numerous major projects including the Race Bank Offshore Wind Farm project, large-scale auger surveys near Flag Fen in Peterborough, geoarchaeological assessment and deposit modelling for Rampion in Sussex, and fieldwork for the large-scale Thames Tideway Tunnel evaluation.

In my spare time I enjoy scuba diving and have been involved in the Portland Harbour Wreck Project as part of GUE’s Project Baseline. I also spend a lot of time out walking with my Border Collie as well as working as a volunteer at a Wildlife Hospital.
