Manager Fieldwork Archaeology

As a part of the Southern fieldwork team, I work as a Project Manager on a wide range of sites. My portfolio includes a significant proportion of projects on military land within and close to the Salisbury Plain Training Area. I have managed excavations at Larkhill where important Neolithic and Bronze Age archaeology has prompted a re-assessment of the development of the Stonehenge landscape and, uncovered the largest ever WWI training battlefield. Excavations at Larkhill are the largest open area excavations ever undertaken in proximity to the Stonehenge World Heritage Site. I have managed excavations at Bulford that revealed the only known double henge, significant Neolithic and Bronze Age archaeology and a Conversion period Anglo-Saxon cemetery.

I enjoyed at least 15 years full-time as a Field Archaeologist on the circuit before assuming roles in consultancy and Secondary Education. I have worked as an Archaeologist across the UK, the Republic of Ireland, the Republic of Cyprus, in Dubai and Kuwait.

I have a keen interest in, and commitment towards, education within archaeology and regularly give talks and lectures on archaeology.
