Old Sarum Park
As supervisor of the Finds Department based in Salisbury my role is pretty broad and aside from my day to day work ensuring that finds are processed, recorded and boxed, I have contributed to reports and local journals for sites such as the East Kent Access Road, Cannington Court, the Heads of the Valleys and the Old Dairy, Amesbury on many diverse subjects, from Victorian metalwork to Anglo-Saxon glass beads. I have also been involved in researching the World War One artefacts recently recovered from Salisbury Plain. My motivation stems from my ongoing fascination with all things archaeological and the sheer variety of my job means that I never know from one day to the next what is going to come through the door.
Outside of work my hobbies include researching my family tree, photography and bird watching.
