My name is Poppy Marlow, and I am a 3D animator and generalist. I absolutely love polygons and everything 3D from creating the first polygon to the final render! Generally my work is very “happy go lucky” as my goal is to create art that makes people smile.

I am so happy to say that I work at Wessex Archaeology, everybody is so welcoming and amazing. So to work in an area that I love in a great company is such a wonderful opportunity, and I consider myself very lucky.

This year, I graduated from Leeds Beckett University where I studied Computer Animation and Visual Effects and I am honoured to say that I was awarded The Deans Prize for Excellence in creative technology. That said, my learning journey is never over and I am constantly either refining my current skills or learning new ones. Currently my personal project is using my old programming skills in conjunction with my 3D skills to create a small game in Unity! Although when I’m not working on artistic projects or drawing, you can usually find me playing a wide variety of video games.

When I have the space, I plan on continuing to learn how to play the piano.
