More walls than you can shake a stick at − here a happy Alan Braby (illustrator par excellence, many an Historic Scotland site features his work on their display boards) − is seeking the remains of a robbed-out wall the fall-out from which is all that crumbly shillet (small flakes of stone breaking away as the large stone blocks are pulled out of the wall) forming the layer in front of him. Meanwhile, downslope other members of the team are exposing yet more walls! See Swandro web page for more.
