Expertise
The StudioSince joining Wessex Archaeology’s Studio team as an Illustrator in 2021, I have worked on a wide range of projects, producing figures for client reports and publications. In particular I provide illustration support to our Marine and Geoarchaeology teams.
As part of my role, I have typeset many leaflets, booklets, conference posters, and other products for both print and digital dissemination. I have also worked on a range of reconstructions, illustration and design projects, for example creating illustrations to show habitat change through time for the ‘Landscapes, Species and Anthropogenic Change’ project.
Working as an Illustrator has allowed me to combine my interests in archaeology and art. Archaeology is a very visual subject and I love learning about new ways in which visual media can be used to record and convey information and ideas about the past. This motivates me to take on new creative challenges and produce high-quality, visually engaging graphics.
