Naomi Brennan

I have worked for Wessex Archaeology for over 12 years, initially in fieldwork before moving into heritage assessment work based in Salisbury. As a Heritage Consultant, my role is to research and prepare Environmental Impact Assessments, heritage statements and desk-based assessments to inform and support planning applications. My experience includes work on a number of major infrastructure projects including HS2 and the East Anglia THREE offshore windfarm. 

One of my most enjoyable challenges is being able to piece together the story of a site through the information we have in the present then applying that knowledge to inform the preservation and enhancement of the historic environment in our changing modern society. I enjoy community archaeology and in my spare time I am also an Assistant Branch Leader at the local South Wiltshire Young Archaeologist Group. Outside of work I enjoy curling up with my cat and a good book.
