Manager Fieldwork ArchaeologyI'm a Fieldwork Senior Project Manager based in Wessex Archaeology’s Kent office, where I help deliver a wide range of development-led archaeological projects. I’ve worked in commercial archaeology for over twelve years, starting in fieldwork before moving into logistics and now project management.
I’ve been fortunate to contribute to large-scale infrastructure schemes, including renewable energy and housing projects, and to nationally significant programmes like the A303 Stonehenge mobilisation. I enjoy the fast pace and problem-solving of project work — especially coordinating across departments, supporting teams on the ground, and keeping projects moving smoothly through delivery.
My approach is grounded in clarity, communication, and care. I value making things work well for people — whether that’s supporting junior staff as they settle into the company, improving internal workflows, or building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
I enjoy public speaking and representing Wessex at industry conferences, where I help showcase the value of archaeology within major infrastructure schemes. I’m particularly passionate about highlighting its role in sustainable development, delivering social value, and creating meaningful connections with local communities.
I’m proud to be part of a collaborative team culture that genuinely supports one another — a working environment where people can grow, share knowledge, and contribute meaningfully to impactful projects.
