Fay Roberts

I joined Wessex in April 2026 as Head of People and have over 15 years’ experience in HR. Before moving into HR, I worked as an employment lawyer, which gave me a strong grounding in employment law and a good understanding of the legal side of people matters.

My background helps me take a practical, balanced approach to HR, finding solutions that work for both the business and our people. I enjoy working closely with managers and colleagues to support them through a wide range of people issues and to help create a positive, engaging place to work. I also really enjoy working at a company that’s so connected to history and discovery.
