Gwen Naylor

As the Archive Assistant Supervisor based in Sheffield, my main responsibilities are to notify and liaise with museums prior to site work as well as preparing and depositing archives once a project is completed. I also liaise with my colleagues to provide archiving advice pre and post-excavation.

I come from a fieldwork background, working in the field for 7 years before joining the archives team in 2022.

I am motivated by providing good quality and accessible archaeological records for future generations and the desire to contribute to the high standards of the company.
