Liz Foulston

Stationed at the Salisbury office, I joined Wessex Archaeology in 2018 after a change of career from my previous role in furniture retail management.

In my current position as an Environmental Lab Technician, I am responsible for preparing and processing archaeological samples from site which require further analysis in the lab. Environmental sampling and analysis are used to investigate, interpret and reconstruct the environments and economies of past human communities, as well as how geological landscapes changed over time. For me, the chance of finding something truly spectacular never gets old and within my role I get to enjoy this daily.
