Expertise

Director

With over 15 years of experience working with heritage, cultural, built environment and higher education institutions, I pride myself on being a resourceful and dynamic communications and engagement professional.

I joined Wessex Archaeology in 2022 as Head of Communications and took on the role of Communications and Impact Director in 2025. I work with and support a range of specialists, from heritage inclusion to content experts, to amplify Wessex Archaeology’s voice, deepen our impact and build partnerships to fulfil the organisation’s vision and strategic goals.

I found my way to communications having first studied Archaeology as a degree and later an MA in Public Archaeology. I quickly discovered my passion for engaging others in archaeology and had my first comms role as a press officer at the Museum of London. Since then, I have led communications for notable institutions such as the University for the Creative Arts and Museum of London Archaeology, as well as working as a freelance communications consultant. During this time, I’ve been fortunate to lead campaigns for a range of high-profile and complex archaeological projects, from Crossrail to Bloomberg London.

I’m driven by a wish to connect people with places, ideas, brands and each other. I greatly enjoy partnering with others to understand audience needs and develop projects and campaigns that truly make a difference.
