Last week, Wessex Archaeology helped to bring the Stone Age to Bulford!

The Stone Age half term club gave local children the chance to learn about the life of prehistoric man by building shelters, using flint tools and even designing some Neolithic recipes.

This free club, held at the Beeches Community Centre in Bulford, proved to be a huge success, and even the weather was on our side. Keep an eye on the WA News Blog for future events in Bulford and elsewhere.

The club was organised by the Army Welfare Service and English Heritage, and was kindly funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
