Lizzie Garwood

I’m Lizzie Garwood, an Illustrator and Multimedia Content Producer specialising in 2D animation. I aim to produce colourful, fun work that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Since in 2018, I’ve won first place in the UK Manga Jiman comic competition, self-published two comics, exhibited at London MCM comic con, and have produced dozens of short animations and videos which have accumulated over three million views online. I am always trying to learn new skills to streamline my workflow and extend my practice. I love to experiment with mixing different styles and textures in my finished pieces, such as combining 2D and 3D or incorporating hand-painted elements.

I’m so excited to be working with Wessex Archaeology creating engaging illustrations and digital content as well as animations and comic books. I use my skills to encourage engagement with heritage, and to help new audiences connect with the past through presenting it in fun and interesting ways.
